Every ability in Bite by Night for both Killers and Survivors. Each character has unique abilities that define their playstyle.
Killer Abilities
The Mimic
Mode Switch
Three modes with unique behaviorsSwitches between three distinct modes, each altering movement and attack patterns.
Grab
Capture mechanic — requires teammate rescueA grab attack that captures a survivor, temporarily incapacitating them. Teammates must rescue grabbed survivors.
Springtrap
Swing
Primary melee — damage varies by axe stateStandard melee attack. Deals 34 damage with axe equipped, 28 damage with fists.
Remnant Cleaver
Ranged — bleed + slow (axe state only)Throws a heavy axe that deals 20 base damage and applies bleed and slow effects. Bleed deals an additional 15 damage over time. Axe-only ability.
Beartrap
Trap — knockdown + 8s stun (axe state only)Places a bear trap that takes ~1.5 seconds to arm. Survivors who step on it are knocked down, stunned for ~8 seconds, and take 15 damage. Axe-only ability.
Scream
AoE reveal + blind + deafness + stamina restore (no-axe state)Lets out a terrifying scream that reveals all survivors and applies blindness and deafness. Restores 25 stamina to Springtrap. Available without axe.
Charge
Sprint grab — 40% current HP damage (no-axe state)Gains a speed burst and can grab a survivor on contact, dealing 40% of their current HP as damage and knocking them down for ~2 seconds. Available without axe.
Ennard
Skin Stealer
Disguise as eliminated survivor — 25 AoE burst on revealWhen a survivor is eliminated, Ennard can adopt their physical avatar, nametag, and visual profile. The disguise violently shakes before bursting, dealing 25 AoE damage and ragdolling nearby survivors.
Grab
Ranged wire pull + 0.3s stun (hitbox 4)Winds up arm and extends a wire in a straight line (hitbox size 4). If it connects with a survivor, they are dragged toward Ennard into melee range, stunned for 0.3 seconds, then released.
Wire Eyes
Tracking + reveal + blind + slow (15s CD)Drills into chest and releases two Wire Eyes that slowly wander the area. They latch onto nearby survivors, revealing their location to Ennard and applying blindness, slow, and periodic damage. Survivors must shake their camera to remove them. 15-second cooldown.
Wirething
Explosive tracking device — proximity detonationReleases a tracking device from knee that follows survivors and explodes on contact. Survivors must shake their screen to remove the tracker before the bar fills.
Survivor Abilities
Customer(Survivalist)
Adrenaline Rush
Speed boost → slow debuff on expiryTemporary speed boost. When the effect expires, the Customer suffers a brief movement speed penalty.
Self-Heal
HP recovery (self only)Restores a portion of lost health. Can be used while moving.
Fighter(Stunner)
Axe Stun
Stun killer (interrupts abilities and movement)Swings the fire axe at the killer, stunning them briefly. Interrupts the killer's current action. Missing leaves the Fighter vulnerable.
Axe Block
Damage reduction on blockRaises the axe defensively to block an incoming attack. Reduces or negates damage.
Medic(Healer)
Medical Kit
HP restoration (allies and self)Deploys a medical kit to heal a targeted teammate or self. Multiple uses per round.
Overheal
Bonus HP above cap (temporary)When healing a target already at full health, stacks additional HP above the base cap. Decays slowly.
Security Guard(Support)
Taser
Movement speed reduction on killerFires a taser shot at the killer, reducing their movement speed. Does not deal damage. Limited range.
Security Cameras
Map-wide killer tracking (stationary)Uses a tablet to access cameras throughout the map. While viewing, the Security Guard is stationary and vulnerable.
