How Bite by Night Works
A quick overview of the core gameplay loop, roles, and objectives.
4v1 Format
Each round features 4 Survivors against 1 Killer. The Killer is randomly selected at the start of each match from all connected players.
Survive Until 6 AM
Survivors are technicians who must complete tasks around the map and stay alive until the in-game clock reaches 6 AM. The round ends when all Survivors escape, are eliminated, or time runs out.
Unique Abilities
Each Killer and Survivor class has 2–5 unique abilities. Killers use animatronic powers to hunt, while Survivors rely on teamwork, healing, stunning, and surveillance to stay alive.
Random Maps
Maps are randomly selected each round. Currently 3 maps are available: The Forest (outdoor, 1 exit), The Warehouse (indoor, 1 exit), and The Pizzeria (indoor, 3 exits).
All Killers
7 playable animatronics from the FNAF universe, each with unique abilities.

Springtrap
AThe Rotten
Free
The default Killer available to all players. Features a unique axe state system — with axe equipped, uses Remnant Cleaver (ranged bleed + slow) and Beartrap (knockdown + 8s stun). Without axe, gains Scream (AoE reveal + blind + deafness) and Charge (sprint grab dealing 40% current HP).

The Mimic
SThe Mistake
4,500 Scraps
Operates in three distinct modes, each altering movement and attack patterns. The Grab mechanic captures a Survivor, temporarily incapacitating them until a teammate performs a rescue. April 7 update: Drill hitbox reduced (15→10), wind up faster (0.5→0.45s).

Ennard
AThe Doppelganger
6,000 Scraps
A stealth-focused Killer with Skin Stealer (disguise as eliminated Survivor with 25 AoE burst on reveal), wire-based Grab (pulls targets into melee + 0.3s stun), Wire Eyes (tracking + blind + slow), and Wirething (explosive proximity tracker).

Survivor Classes
4 classes with distinct roles and abilities.

Customer
BSurvivalist
Adrenaline Rush provides a temporary speed boost with a slow debuff when it expires. Self-Heal restores health while moving. Best for solo players who prefer independence over team coordination.

Fighter
SStunner
Wields a fire axe that stuns the Killer on hit, interrupting their abilities. Axe Block reduces or negates incoming damage. April 7 update: HP buffed to 110, Blindness lasts longer, now also applies Deafness. Price: 1,350 Scraps.

Medic
SHealer
Deploys medical kits to heal teammates and self with multiple uses per round. Overheal stacks additional HP above the base cap on fully healed targets. Essential for team survival in longer rounds.

Security Guard
ASupport
Fires a taser that reduces the Killer's movement speed (no damage, limited range). Accesses security cameras via tablet for map-wide Killer tracking. Stationary and vulnerable while viewing cameras.
All Maps
3 maps. Maps are randomly selected each round.
The Forest
An outdoor forest environment with dense tree cover and limited visibility. Single exit means Survivors must coordinate carefully. The open layout favors high-mobility Killers like Springtrap in no-axe state.
The Warehouse
An industrial indoor map with narrow corridors, storage rooms, and machinery. The single exit creates high-pressure endgame scenarios. Tight spaces benefit close-range Killers and make Security Guard cameras highly valuable.
The Pizzeria
A FNAF-inspired indoor map based on Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. With 3 exits, it is the most Survivor-friendly map. Multiple rooms and hallways provide ample hiding spots and alternative escape routes.

Platforms & Quick Tips
Available on all Roblox-supported platforms with cross-play.
Supported Platforms
- ✓ PC — Windows and Mac via Roblox Player. Keyboard and mouse controls for precise aiming and camera movement.
- ✓ Mobile — iOS and Android via the Roblox app. Touch controls with on-screen joystick and ability buttons.
- ✓ Console — Xbox and PlayStation via the Roblox app. Controller support with analog stick movement.
- ✓ Cross-play — All platforms play together in the same lobbies and servers.
Quick Tips for New Players
- Stick with your team — solo Survivors are easy targets. The Medic and Fighter combo is especially effective when paired together.
- Learn each Killer's audio cues — every Killer has distinct sounds. Springtrap's metallic footsteps, The Mimic's mode switch audio, and Ennard's wire sounds can warn you before a visual sighting.
- Use exits strategically — on The Pizzeria (3 exits), split into groups to cover multiple escape routes. On single-exit maps, timing your escape is critical.
- Security Guard cameras — call out the Killer's position to your team. You are vulnerable while viewing, so find a safe corner first.
